Q: What actor would you want to play yourself in a biopic about you?
A: Üllar Saaremäe

Q: The movie with the best style?
A: Sunset Boulevard by Billy Wilder

Q: The movie that changed your life?
A: Magnolia by Paul Thomas Anderson

Q: Do you remember your first movie date?
A: I think I have never been on a date. And I usually go to the movies alone. But I remember my first visits to the cinema: the death of Bambi’s mother and the killing of King Kong. These experiences have made me quite untrustful towards society.

Q: Netflix or cinema?
A: When my grandpa was asked if he would like vodka or cognac, he said that both are good. As a film critic, I love the big screen but I also enjoy binge-watching the TV shows from the comfort of my couch.

BEFRIEND THE NATURE

The idea for Seasoned Travel was born at the film set.

In nature.

That’s why we are firm believers in collaboration with nature and using the materials created in nature’s laboratory.

Like ramie or camel hair.

As the film is our medium of choice, here’s a short piece about finding a friend in the wild.

Here we have a sharp stand-up comedian and graphic designer Kadri-Maria Mitt sharing her thoughts.

Name: Kadri-Maria Mitt

Occupation: Graphic designer, stand-up comedian

Mindset: Whatever works

Q: What actor would you want to play yourself in a biopic about you?

A: Topher Grace.

Q: What’s the movie called?

A: “She messed up”. Because I always mess up something.

Q: The movie with most style?

A: “True Romance”. The most of its atmosphere is made up of music which is a tribute to Badlands which is another stylish movie.

Q: The movie that changed your life?

A: There are three moments. First, when I was little I saw “Rocky”. I was enchanted for days and I was really sad that there were no boxing schools for girls. When I grew up I discovered “Rocky” also had a funny dialogue. It’s still one of my favourite movies.

Secondly, my sense of humour has been largely influenced by “Naked Gun” movies. Because a big part of the true humour was in the background of the main storyline.

And third, when I was a teenager I was afraid to go to sleep alone when left home alone at weekends. One night I discovered “Monty Python” movie marathon on some Finnish TV channel. I laughed all night until the beginning of a new day. I have never seen anything so funny.

Q: The coolest city?

A: Tartu and Bangkok. Hard to choose.

Q: One thing you never travel without?

A: A warm piece of clothing no matter what climate. The wise words of my grandma have proven to be true.

Q: Favourite airport?

A: Tallinn Airport. There’s nothing better than to return back home.
